As a personal trainer certified by the NASM, David helps people of all ages and abilities, improve strength, flexibility, core, and cardiovascular fitness so that life can be enjoyed to the fullest.  

David is former competitive bodybuilder, winning first place in the Copper Classic open middleweight and master’s categories in 2004 and 2005

Kim recently moved here from Wisconsin! When she isn’t in the gym, she is spending time her with
husband John and dog, Cash.  She enjoys going hiking, watching sports and now since moving, Face
Timing her nieces and nephews.
 
Kim is a passionate health and fitness expert. Her goals are to teach people how to live a healthy
lifestyle, give guidance on making healthier choices and ways to break old habits and replace them
with better ones. Kim brings joy and happiness inside the gym. Her welcoming persona will allow
barriers to be broken when combating your fitness obstacles. 

Kim is licensed in nutrition and personal training through ISSA programing. Her fitness journey started
in 2016 when she wanted to make a change in her life, to be able to feel confident and get strong.
After figuring out the gym setting herself and working with her own coach, she found the enjoyment of
fitness and wants to help people get that same feeling.
Chris Betancourt

Chris Betancourt

Chris grew up here in Sierra Vista, graduating from Buena High School. He has been physically active pretty much all his life, playing sports at an early age through college. Chris played football at both Eastern Arizona and Illinois State.
 
He was introduced to weightlifting in college and has been active in the gym ever since. He has competed in body building competitions and enjoys all aspects of the sport.
 
In 2022, after Chris retired from working at UPS for 36 years, he joined his wife at Summit Fitness where they manage the gym together.
 
When Chris is not at the gym, you will find him off adventuring somewhere, active in his church, spending time with his six children and 10 grandchildren or hanging out with his mom & mother-in-law.
 
Chris received his CPT certification through ISSA and has lots of practical gym floor experience. He has a passion for physical fitness and wants to see his clients healthy and able to enjoy life to the fullest. Body, soul, and spirit. He is a natural encourager and wants to see you succeed with your goals.

ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING

Change your body for the rest of your life. You set your goals and we will work alongside you to get you there! Your Summit Fitness Personal Trainer will be your teacher, coach, motivator, and sometimes even your conscience!

Choose from 30 and 60 minutes
sessions in packages of
1 to 20 sessions.

SMALL GROUP TRAINING

If you have a friend or partner that you would like to train with, then this option is for you! Small Group Personal Training incorporate the focused attention of Personal Training at a lower cost than one-on-one. Set up your own group, or join an existing one.

Regularly scheduled 60-minute
sessions in groups of 2-4 people.

Personal Training is for you if you are:

  • A beginner, intimidated by weight equipment and unsure of correct exercise technique
  • Experienced and training hard but not getting the results you’re looking for
  • Needing to lose body fat
  • Having a hard time sticking with a program
